Default Is it time??

I have lost about a quarter of my bankroll in the past couple days.

Taken some really bad beats and just a bad run of cards.

Should I take a break or keep on playing until it turns around?

Whats the best solution?

Take a break until January 1st. Play in our freeroll and things will change!

Take a break. I've had really bad runs like that and after awhile it just completely takes me off my game and fucks with my psychologically. I'm constantly thinking I'm going to get sucked out on and I start playing stupid. Not because I'm on tilt - I just get paranoid.

What happens is, I feel like I have the best hand and since I've gotten sucked out on the last 8 of 10 hands, I start playing over aggressive and I put everyone on a draw. Anytime I see 2 of the same suit, I think the bastard is chasing a flush again...Well, about the time I start doing that is when I finally DON'T have the best hand, but most of my chips are already in the pot so I play it out...and I lose it all.

That's just one instance. I also will sometimes fold the best hand just because of the fact that I can't seem to win a hand. I start doing all kinds of strange thinks that are just not me.

I consider myself to be a smart player, but when I go through really bad runs for weeks and months at a time...it fucks with my head really bad...plus it takes all the fun out of playing.

We've all been there for sure!
I love playing too but when I get the feeling that eveyhand I am in is doomed, I can't seem to shake it. I have "tried" playing through it too but my record will show I can't. When I am tired I am more careless and the bad beats seem to happen more often...is there a correaltion?? ... I think so.
My suggestion is to shut it down for the night and regroup for tomorrows action with a fresh outlook.
