Default Freerollers

I lover freeroll tourneys and Absolute Poker has plenty of them... more than any other sites.

Ultimate Bet has a freeroll sometimes every hour and sometimes every other hour.

freerolls r good, but hard to really play ur game there until after 1st break usually... small 9 player cash tournies r about the same i enjoy the multi-table tournies myself...

While I think the open freerolls that sites offer are great when you're a newbie, I also believe people shouldn't be playing them for very long. Yes, they offer free money. And yes, it's certainly possible to win hundreds or even thousands of dollars freerolling. However, try tracking how much you make *per hour*.

It's probably peanuts. Which is fine if you're a newbie and just getting your feet wet. But it you've played for a while and are still making very little per hour, you'd be waaay better off to spend your time improving your game instead of looking for more freerolls where you'll continue to make peanuts.

And on the other hand, if you're actually winning at a reasonable hourly rate, your game is decent enough that you should be playing buyins because you'd be making more money.

I don't like a lot of absolute freerolls because they have so many players so you took a long time to win some cents or, of course, you get at the final table so you win some decent money. That's the problem of open freerolls, always have so many players.
I think one of the best open freerolls it's the quickdraw at doyles, ends really fast and have a good prize pool.

I am not a fan of freerolls because it is nothing but a donkfest! You have to litterally be one of the donks the first hour or play extremely tight until the majority of the donkey's are eliminated. The problem is these freerolls have hundreds of people in them and the payout is nothing great. To sit there for hours to earn $10 is not my idea of good poker.

I will take a nice mid-range buyin anyday over a freeroll.

I know it works for some to get their bankroll started. But eventually you have to move up and play some good playing buyins tournaments to earn some real money.

I have built brolls on freerolls to dbl it on $2-$5 games (+pvt league games). It teaches you patience and how to put notes on donks
