Having qualified for several of these in the past I can help. First the field will probably be in the 850 player range. Second if you won on Monday you will be qualified for the Sunday on the upcoming weekend only. Third My best finish in this was a while back but I did finish fifth and won 60 dollars for my effort. I think top dollar is around 250 for first but it has been a while since I have played in one.

Congratulations on qualifying and good luck in the AP challenge. I do have a couple of suggestions. First sign up for the event early as possible as there have been times when I qualified and was told I could not register. These issues were resolved fairly quickly with an e-mail to the support center. Second and most important, do not kid yourself about the quality of players has to be better in this event than in a regular freeroll. These things are chock full of freeroll morons who made it by calling with draws and getting lucky. Yes there are some good solid players but you will still have to watch out for the luck boxes just like any other freeroll.\

Best of luck to you and I hope this answers your questions.

Yeah, I've been in a few of these. I used to qualify almost weekly.

There are a lot more players in these freerolls nowadays as Absolute has gotten extremely popular.

Like strip said, the players are pretty much horrible. They are still freerollers. The better players play for real money and that is were to learn how to really play...when you have something to lose. People play differently when they risk nothing. Even I do. So, be patient and punish them when you have a great hand. Let them take each other out.

I'd say about 25-50% of the players registered will not show up and will be disqualified after the first round.

Good luck bro. Let us know how you do!

so the 25-50% show up just narrow the field smaller then the 800 some that Strip says that should be there.. which is a plus, I sat through almost 1600 people and got third so little under 800 I should be alright.. but yeah Im deff gonna hang back and wait for something so I can double up early and relax.. yeah Ill deff keep my eye out for those maniacs... first 10 hands should show me who the asses are.. but yeah Ill deff let ya know how I do.. good or bad but this is my first big thing I guess you could say..
