vegas trip

just thought that i would come and let you all know about my trip to vegas. i stayed at the flamingo and it was nice, the pool was great. i played a couple tournaments, didn't do so great but did ok in the cash games. i played in a holdem tournament at the Fitz which was just a 55 buy in but the structure was pretty good. i didn't do so well buy my friend took 2nd. we also played in a omaha h/l tournament at the orleans because we heard that was the place for omaha tournaments. don't waiste your time unless you like super rediculous blind and loose old players. i think after the second break they skip like 4 or 5 blind levels and make it a freeferall. anyways one good thing about going to the orleans was that i ran into a player that i play with at fortune that i have never met before. it was really nice to see him and watch him play a bit too. overall the trip was good but i suggest if you are going not to play any slot machines, i think they turned them off for paying anything anymore. not good.

if you are even closer to the strip, you should try the venitian poker room daily tournament..
big turnouts daily. in a class by itself.
