People Think there hand is best and that they can't be beat with it so they make a bad call or even win they don't need to say anything ..They need to get up and leave and wish everybody gl ....Thats what i do at least ..no need to make a ass of your self..

I have never been able to understand the person that whines throughout a tourney. Of course it starts up when they have been up in the stack and then got lowered. As they whine on, the stack lowers more and more. Attitude has so much to do with holdem it is unbelievable! Others at the table are looking for that ripe opportunity to arrive to take the whiner out and in the meantime there is a curse on the table... the whiner... finally after the table takes "the whiner" out.. he will not leave, he stays behind to further whine on about how life is just not fair, how he was the best player... then puts down the people at the table each one of course for the next 30 minutes... I make sure I have notes on whiners. I want to know who they are before we even start a game. Being prepared actually helps!

I am confused. Are you implying that you have played in a low stakes tournie that was free of whining? Wish i was there

Default manners

While my husband gets kind of ticked after a bad beat and types something like "suck out".... he always types "nice hand" afterward. I actually find it mildly amusing when someone freaks out like that. One guy at a poker table I was at was picking at another one sitting with us and went as far as to make poorly thought out comments about the leader of the other players country. I mean, come on... All the while everyone else is sneaking away with more and more of his chips. So anyway, the long hours at a table can inevitably be broken up with the bad beat banter. Take it with a grain of salt.

The funniest (pathetic) encounter I've seen with a whiner is a few years ago when I started on play money. This guy took all this guys chips (free chips that is) on a donk play... and this guy who got knocked out hounded this poor donk for easily 30-45 minutes typing abuse after abuse. It was pretty sad... considering we all know that play money games is DONK CITY.

Now try and imagine this guy if it was $1... LOL!

I had this one guy who was going all in every hand and i finally hit AA and he went all in with something stupid like 27 and i beat him (which amazed me, you guys know how it is lol AA loses everytime)
anyway after he calls me every name in the book he then proceded to wish that me and all my family members burn in a horrendous fire then rot in hell and burn some more. but that wasnt even the worst part. he then told me that he hopes i have kids and they burn first while i watch and he hopes its nice and slow.

Now that is one sick puppy! this guy was so warped, who would think of crap like that?
People like that should be banned for life, with no second chances.
