Do your drink at a live game table?

i personally don't like it when my friends drink at the table, it seems to get them distracted and they can't focus on the game and then it ends up taking the whole night and morning to finish

I usually have a few drinks to get started to relax. Like to start of with a french connection to wet the palate

It's not uncommon to target people who have an alcoholic beverage by their side. Though recently I've been weary because as some people say here, that person can just be on their first drink or cradling a second or so. And we all know a lot of poker players have high tolerance... ...

Oh, and I don't drink at the tables because it hinders my own judgment rather than relaxes me. The sound of chips is enough to do that.

I like to have a couple of drinks when im playing , recently a player was banned for always playing drunk, he was very annoying , but it was easy to get his chips , lol

I don't drink when I play at all. Unless I drink at a good pace then it just makes me tired, and when I'm tired I just make stupid moves.

I only drink about 2 drinks over about 4 hours. Sometimes I get really thirsty, but so involved I don't even take the time to signal for a cocktail!

It really depends on where I am. My monthly game is no big deal, been doing it with the same 7 guys for over 12 years, so I tend to drink bit. Going to a poker room, either local or not, I will only drink water or coffee.

I like one good scotch,that's it.I smoke to relax.but when in vegas,drinking wont send you to prison..so don't get to drunk.You should be able to see who's taking your chips.lol
