hi..i am a beginner..so i would know where do i start from and whats the baaic strategy..shud i read books or just start playing online..

Books are the best place to start. Then you can work on your specific style once you have the basics down. It doesn't even matter if it is holdem, omaha, stud or any other poker game you want to play. There are books out there for them all. Good luck at the tables!!

Check out the strategy section here on the forum as well. Some good stuff.
