Hey Dtown. I have several good books. Today there are speciallty books for every game it seems. I have read Super Sytem as well. I tend to paly tourneys exclusively. Both sit 'n gos and multi-table tourney so i look for books that fit those formats. What do you play mostly? Rob.

In one hand, poker may be more luck related than skill. But make better decisions than your opponents over 10,000 hands and the results will be in your favor. That is where you start to see the "skill effect".

i agree, u definately have to have lady luck on your side but if u lack skill and rely too much on luck u might as well give up now. My next book to read is "every hand revealed" this is Gus Hansens book from when he played and won the Aussie millions, he recorded every detail and thought about every hand played until the last winning hand then made a book outta it, it contradicts alot of other great poker books but i think it will be great reading and ive read many fantastic reviews about it.

The books that have helped my game the most are Harrington on Holdem Volume I and Volume II. They are great books and Dan Harrington has different hand examples and tournament strategy. They're pretty inciteful books. I'm currently reading his books on NL cash games.
