def. wait for your top 5 hands until you get into a pot. if those dont come and the table startes to more than double your chip stack you might have to make a play or 2. but wait for your top hands, cause more then likely the person who calls your all in will fully double you. then your next moves get you into the game where you can play POKER.

Default sit ngo

best way to play a sit ngo is too sit back if u get lucky and get very loose players and let them knock every1 out exspecialy when top 3 pays are great ive won alot without playing a hand outside the blinds.

When I play sng's "early" I like to only "limp" with hands that are worthy of calling an allin...
IF I LIMP,I'M CALLIN YOUR ALL IN!!!

Quick double up then fold your way to top 2.

Get good position early then cherry pick later on. Be careful about reraises until you can read your opponent.

I'm really having trouble with sit and go's recently... Every time I get into a situation where I think I've got the better hand, it is actually a coin flip that I lose. I just played in one with this really aggressive guy going all in with pocket 3s, QJ, things like that and I got AK suited and he raised me all in preflop. I called and he had pocket 3s and knocked me out. I need to figure something out with these sit and go's fast.

Edit: I just played in another tourney, first hand someone goes all in and I have pocket aces and I lose. Fuck full tilt.

Your playing a 51, 49 percent game. A low pocket pair has only a slightly better chance of winning. It comes down to intimidation, will you let the guy steamroller you because he wins 3 hand in a row? Understanding odds is the key to this game. Better to shut him up with a big re-raise and then win, but poker is not a perfect world. He was betting on your inexpierience to wimp out and back down...you let him win when you decided you lost, remember poker is a in your face game...wimping when the odds are with you is failure.
