In some situation the push with every hand is right!!
Ex:
When i have big stack or middle stack and at the bubble or before i'm on BUTTON o CO and the blinds has 12-16BB, the push is also right, in this situaion we have many fold equity

Default SNG Strategy

sit back and let everyone knock each other out especially in cheap SNGs and wait to get paid

Default be patient

have to agree with the "let the donks kick each other first" comments. i play a lot of micro sit n gos. that's my budget right now. i would just add to manage your chips carefully. you have to call the "all-in-every-hand" players sooner or later. early in the game, let others do that. if i have a high odds hand, i'll call if i know i'll have some chips left.

i prefer the six seat games at absolute (and vegas once i win some freeroll $). quite a few times i've come back from 6th with 60 to 200 in chips to take 1st or 2nd. i don't like being the underdog, that's for sure, but it forces me to be patient and what the others have said happens. they knock themselves out as i rebuild with great hands. i make money in about 60% of my sit n gos.

John, Poker has been bastardised by the "all ins" in freerolls. I am sure when I play this may there will be tons of donks that build large pots that go to the better players later on. Poker is not dead, just seems to be this big movement to make it a lottery game. The good players are still there and we beat these donks all the time. We know calling "all in" early with A

It varies for me...
I like to let the donks knock eachother around...
but, also it is very nice to double up right away and then sit back and be patient...

played one yesterday where I could not help but type "Sttteeeeaaammmrrooolllllleeerrrrrrr" because I knocked out 4 players within the first 10 hands...lol

C ya on the tables!

My experience with sng's is to wait for a big hand, double up, and then wait for the next one, really letting everyone else bust each other

I agree sicu...let the bad players do their thing...be patient...on the bubble is the time to change gears. Watch for the loose callers but steal relentlessly from the tight players and go for the top spot.

Seems to be the nature of freerolls. They are free afterall. I always hope to get the cards early to compete and I do take chances because I know there will be big stacks to contend with later so I have to accumulate chips myself somehow.

Yup...sometimes you can just sit there and gain by watching other plays like fools...have done it many times on Bodog....got to the money with even playing in their 10 player, pay 5 tourneys. Amazing.
