I'm assuming you mean in no-limit holdem, and to answer your question, in the long run Ivey would wipe Raymer out. Over an extended period of time, especially in situations with deep stacks and small blinds, Ivey would dominate.

I concur.

Obviously one game is no where near a big enough sample size, but over the course of them continually squaring off, Ivey has a big edge.

To the OP, why did you chose these 2 players? Are they your favorites? Or what?

That one is a tough...I gotta go with the 90 year old guy that swears. He DID flop quads. He has to have skill to do that.

Short term: either one of them...


Long term: kid with no arms. He'll out live him over a longer period of time.
