God this show was bad. I love Madsen, but wow. Acting was bad by everyone else but him, the "hot" girl wasn't hot enough to really keep my attention, and the worst part about it is that you can tell they "tried" to make the poker scenes "real" but then realized that "real" isn't all that exciting, so they stretched "real" to "retarded". For example, the hand that wins Eddie the world series... his 66 vs Everest's AK on a flop of AK6. I mean, yeah it's possible, but a little too well set up.


The cameo's by Negreanu, Cloutier, Hellmuth, and David Williams are really the only redeemable parts of the show. I bought it on DVD and sincerely wish I hadn't

That show was hilarious, although I new it was horrible, I couldn't pry myself from it.

Damn straight!! I loved that show, no matter how bad it was. I was depressed it didn't come back for season 2. Although, I have no idea where they could have gone with the story line.
