Default The Main Event

I believe when they say a pro will never win the main event ever again is true... the odds are totally against them... i think less experienced players will try to make plays against them that normal pros wouldnt necessarily make.. which makes their skills at reading people wouldnt help them... and obviously playing the odds taking the maybe what 100 actual well known pros against the other 5000 people playing.. itll be tough to see a phil ivey or doyle at a final table in the main event

no way. a pros going to win within the next 3 years. In 07 Lee Watkinson was there, 06 Allen Cunningham was there, 05 Mike Matusow was there, 04 was Dan Harrington and Josh Arieh was there. 03 Dan Harrington again, Sammy Farha, David Grey, and David Singer.

Def a pro is going to win within the next 2-3 years, maybe next year.

I'd have to say the late great Chip Reese was underrated and un"advertised" in the pokerworld. All good players knew he was great and perhaps the best to ever play the game but he never got a ride on the media and poker explosion. Cunningham used to be underrated but now I think anyone who has some pretty good knowledge of poker knows that Cunningham is a great player.

Default Cunningham IS underrated

Please forgive my ignorance if I'm wrong...
Given that Cunningham does have five bracelets, wouldn't you say that the fact that most don't recognize the guy... would make him underrated?

Most underrated has to be the "late" Chip Reese. R.I.P.

I defenitly agree. If they can make it to the final table, then they can win for sure.
