Default Most Underrated Player

In your opinion, who is the most underrated player?

IMO
<-------------------------

By far. Unbelievable cash game player, but doesn't get enough attention because he doesn't play as many tournaments.

I agree with the Cunningham answer.. I don't think Ted Forrest is very underrated among the players themselves. Maybe by the media, but then again, almost all top players aren't really recognized by the media, as the media concerns themselves only with tournament players. Given, many top cash game players are also top tournament players, but there are exceptions.

I'd say Cunningham is one of the more underrated players among the players. Among the media, it's Chip Reese, hands down. The guy got almost no media exposure until he won the HORSE bracelet, and even then, during the broad cast, they kept referring to him as "a name you may not know"

I can agree with Allen Cunningham being underrated, but I think he's another player more underrated by the media.

I also think Joe Cassidy is extremely underrated. IMO Joe Cassidy>John Dagostino.

As opposed to when he didn't have his resume built up?

Yeah, as in...pre player of the year, WITH the ME final table. Juanda, Ivey and DN always talked about him being the "best" at their home game but he never showed much until recently. So yes, as opposed to when he didn't have his resume build up.

i'd have to say cunningham since he's so unassuming looking and doesn't really intimidate others...but he's the big man with great reads and lay downs for sure.
