Why do Annie Duke and Daniel Negreanu not get

along? In her book she refers to him as her "online tormenter." Did he write about her in his blog? How did this all get started?

i don't know a whole lot about the story, but supposedly when they first met daniel was somewhat new to professional poker, but he had some major successes, and he sat down in a game with annie...she went on to openly criticize his play at the table, and do several other inappropriate things at the table, which set them against each other from the very beginning...daniel went on to respond on the rec.gambling.poker forum that she put her dirty bare feet on the chairs and soiled themthen there were other apparent incidents, including one where daniel and annie were at the same table online and annie managed to get daniel's chat banned...he then sent her an extremely nasty e-mail ripping her apart for what she did eventually, a number of other famous pros got in on the situation, taking sides one way or the other...the culmination of the situtation came when daniel and annie's brother, howard lederer, got into a fight on the rec.gambling.poker forum, with howard chastising daniel for feeling that his good friend jennifer harman was the only female player worthy of credit, and daniel saying that many top pros know that jennifer is a better player and that annie is not only a mediocre player but classless...daniel and howard ended up not speaking to each other but buried the hatchet over a money issue and now seem to be on good terms, but annie and daniel still do not speak

i really like annie duke cause she isnt afraid to speak her mind, she is tough

I feel that this is just a case where you have two people, Daniel and Annie, who are passionate about poker, and both aren't afraid to speak their mind. When you have two people that are similar in that regard, there's bound to be friction somewhere along the line.

Very simply, they each made a bad first impression on each other, and unfortunately, both of them are too proud to meet halfway and bury the hatchet.

That's how I feel about it. You're not always going to get along with everybody at your office, it's just human nature. It just happens that their office is in a more prominent environment that people can get a peek into.
