Has to be Stu E Ungar
Hi there,
Having just watched the WSOP 2009 and all the talk of Phil Ivey I was surprised to see him play so timidly, if that's the right word to use, he limped into the final, then limped out ,but having duff cards on the final table can't help.
He is good, but man was Stu Ungar the bar locks, as with all geniuses he was tormented, but he had it licked, had everyone licked but his fondness for the white powder killed off any chance of dominating for years. He'd be up there now kicking ass if he was alive and coke free. He was so good that gin rummy players didn't want to play in tournies if he played, so he changed to Hold em and started kicking ass in that. It's a shame he wasn't focused, he would be ruling the world now
3 WSOPs and 3 Superbowls = Never been bettered.
PS Do I sound like a one man Stu Ungar fan club LOL
He was the man.
