Jamie Gold is not a good bluffer. He always looks nervous. Well, I guess always looking nervous will hide the best hands. =X

Default Jamie Gold is good for poker

Even though he's not a very good poker player, even though he might have tried to get away from the deal he had with a friend concerning his 2006 winnings, bottomline is that Jamie Gold will be good for poker, just like Moneymaker was.

So many donkeys saw him play and are trying to implement some of his game into theirs (talking all the time, bluffing, chasing, etc). Every good poker players knows u can't win playing that loose and agressive (watch high stakes poker if you're not convinced). In the end tight-agressive players will be rewarded as the table are more and more filled with agressive donkeys.

You wanna see Jamie squirm ...he does it twice really well in High Stakes Poker Season 4. I think on episode 11 and 12. Anyhow he has pkt kings twice.
First time he goes all-in after the TURN when a king gives him a set and Antonius a made high str8. When Antonius calls him, he knows he has a str8 and his kings are looking pretty dead. He begs and pleads and gets Antonius to play the RIVER 3 times. $750,000 in the pot, so each time they play the river its worth $250K to the winner..... wont tell you what happens... I think you can guess. In the next episode he plays pkt K's without raising. Sammy Farha has pkt aces and raises....then a whole heap of silly bets without the flop ever being drawn. Jamie Gold even tips the dealer in advance. Sammy should get an oscar for not being so quick to respond to Jamie's Jibes. When Jamie Gold realises that Sammy must have ACES....he begs and pleads with Sammy to check it down to the end ....lol

You need a good mix of tight aggressive, loose aggressive, conservative and donkeys to make a good table. If we all played the same game it would be boring. I have more fun playing loose aggressive than I do playing tight. The thing is, I mix up my game so its harder to read what my hole cards might be

I dont get all the hate for Jamie Gold.
I just love all the people that complain about suck outs like they have never fished for card or never called when they should have folded or just felt like playing a dumb hand and flopped the nuts.
give me a break!! if Jamie is so bad and everyone else is so good then why did he make it through thousands of people and win the whole thing.
noone is that lucky, you have to know how to play.

he actually did an interview on rounders radio about a month or 2 ago and i found him to be very intelligent and a pretty decent guy.

I think they have a podcast that you can listen to.

anyway

Leave pooooooor Jamie ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *cry sob scream cry*
