Anybody else think this guy came to the table with a nasty attitude to go along with his ridiculous play. Look, I know people get lucky sometimes, but I hate to see it happen to a guy who is too dumb to realize how lucky he was.

I was watching the final table last night on ESPN. His table talk and the way he got into people's head was actually pretty brilliant...other than that...THE LUCKIEST GUY I HAVE EVER SEEN.

Who COULDN'T win with the cards he was getting? It was unreal. Over and over and over.

And yeah, he just has something about him that people just don't like. I thought it was funny how they interviewed other players and NONE of them respected him as poker player.

I personally would sit down with him at the poker table anytime.

I didn't see the interviews with any other players talking bout him but in my opinion he was kinda being an ass. He was kinda degrading people when he beat them and by showing them his cards when he bluffed them on a big pot, but it also was a great strategy because i dont think that guy would have called with his pocket tens at the end if he wouldn't have been doin that all tourney.

Me2 Chane, ecspecially now cause i know he's got money. A friend of mine told me that Jamie Gold was in a lawsuit with a friend of his cause he said that he would give his friend half the winnings and when he won he backed out, is that true?

It's true alright! 6 of the 12 mil he won is on hold until the lawsuit is settled. The friend actually has a voicemail from him stating that he would split it with him. He's basically screwed!

i will admit that he was a dick at the table....but you have to give him credit for winning the main event.....he may of had very good cards but if he wouldnt of used his mouth and talked people into calling or out of calling he would of lost right away....im not a fan of him either at all..but you have to give a guy credit sometimes

Yea, I am sure he made some strong plays along the way, but he just made me sick with the way he treated some people as he crushed there hopes and dreams, when it was coming down to the end. Him and that little blonde headed kid were killing me.

Eh, I didn't give Moneymaker or Verkonyi respect, and look how well they've done after their ME wins. :roll:

It was just 1 tournament. 1, big, huge, tournament.
