I go to the the dentist today (on April Fool's Day). I hope they don't try to play any pranks on me. I love how my teeth feel after getting out of there!

I wanted to show everyone some photos of my gorgeous nephews. They are the happiest kids ever and bring so much joy to our family. They will have you laughing your ass off within minutes of meeting them. They're constantly laughing and it's very contagious.

They know very little about the "bumps" on there head, as they call them. Except for their tumors they have EVERYTHING going for them including a very loving family.

Here's the youngest one, Bronson (age 2).





And here's Braeden (age 4) with University of Michigan's Football Coach Rodriguez. (The hospital they go for chemo and other treatment is right on the campus of U of M.)



This is a photo of Braeden at swimming lessons. The "bump" you see in his chest is a port that they surgically inserted so that they could give him his chemo shots easier.

He calls it his "button" and absolutely loves it and loves to show it off. After 60 weeks of chemotherapy, he just recently got it taken out and was very sad about it. The same week, his brother Bronson got his port inserted. He doesn't like his so much right now, but he is awfully young to have it.

and thank god they have such great attitudes, that can only help everyone to deal with such a challenging situation.

Chane do you mind if when i do my "guilt trips" at the forums that i can reuse these pictures? i figure its easier to guilt someone into donating and these photos just make it more real.

Hmm, I don't know about guilt trips. Just let them know about the great karma they will enjoy and how much fun it will be. I believe that if you give people the opportunity to be good and to do good things, they will take it.

But, yea show them how gorgeous my nephews are. I've been trying to post pics on most of the forums I post at.

Their story is quite touching also.

Braeden has lost much of his eyesight and could go completely blind if the tumor continues to grow. He will also need to have his leg broken when he is older and replaced with a steel rod. He wears a brace and walks with a limp. He has to wear it so his leg doesn't break while he is young. Just like his button he is quite proud of his brace and looks at is a blessing, not an annoyance.

He's gone through 60 weeks of chemo already before he was 4 years old. He's got the biggest heart and he's tougher than nails.

And Bronson, he is only 2 years old and already beginning his 60 weeks of chemo.

My brother who got raise after raise and promotion after promotion just got laid off from his job last month out of no where. Why?

Well, having 2 kids with brain tumors is not cheap. The companies insurance rates skyrocketed because of it, so they let him go. He is now unemployed, but the medical bills don't stop. He's searching like hell for a job, but they'll probably have to file bankruptcy.

But, the truth is, our family is very happy anyway. As long as we have each other, we'll be fine. We're very fortunate and very grateful...The money does not go to my family, it goes to the Children's Tumor Foundation who is so helpful to families like his and who we believe are very close to finding better treatments and possibly even a cure.
