Buy-ins are not supported by the membership here at TRR. Even the Open is only getting 8-12 players recently. Frustrating, huh.

No CF we are not all freeloaders or freerollers.
if you look at what other people post i think you'll find that alot of us have problems depositing there, coupled with the fact that noone plays theres doesnt really make it a desirable place to play.

as for FT, most of us that are here on a regular basis play in these.
sorry but for me its just not possible to play every single week but we do the best we can.

YES PH - buy-ins, outside FTP, have never been supported. Oh, and thank you for taking on the responsibility of, and speaking for, everyone here at TRR. My comment is correct, as this is the fourth buy-in in a row cancelled. I found a way to get money at the site. I'm sure you're smart enough to do the same if you REALLY wanted to play there.

I have my opinion. Maybe you should keep yours to yourself sometimes.

First of all, i played in every game of the last series we played at pokerari and if i say i cant deposit then thats what i mean, i cant deposit! hopefully you are smart enough to figure that out!

I have never deposited on any poker site, as it is really difficult to transfer money from South Africa to Neteller or any of those ‘banking’ methods. We also don’t have those gift cards or prepaid credit cards here. My country is against any moneys to leave here. Aye I know they dobbers like most politicians all over the world.

When I could not play for a while and some of you know why.. One Saturday night when we came back from a night out, I saw TRR needed 1 player at Pokerari so the game could take place. I also know about Pokerari’s policy to not give us more games if many get cancelled, due to lack of people not registering. So I registered that Saturday and I was not sorry for 1 minute because we all had fun and since I got 3rd place and won $2, I only lost 20 cents.

Aye it is sad but true.. Whenever there is a freeroll and no matter what site, everybody cannot wait to get in there. Oh boy.. A buyin is another story. Most of the people are nowhere to be seen. Right, I don’t play many buyins … but whenever I do play in a freeroll and win some money I make sure to keep some for buyins on that site. Sometimes we don’t go back there but since I got some $ for free it does not bother me. Any money I do win from TRR freerolls, I make sure to keep some for our buyins. I believe in putting some money back.. I think of those winnings as not all mine but to be shared with the forum via buyins.

I do not have a lot of money on Pokerari, well not enough to transfer. A person must have $25 I think to transfer to another player … well I don’t have that much, else I would have shared what I have any time. If anybody can find another way for us to share money on there, I will try that.

Oh and I don’t mind playing on Full Tilt, I just don’t have money on there as it is a wee bit too hard for me to play 2700 players for hours … well I tried a few times. In fact I am still trying over weekends. It is not my favorite site and it is not very Penny friendly but as long as TRR is going to play there so am I!

I like Pokerari and I would not mind if we play there again. In fact I would like it. They do have freerolls and not so many players in them.

Ok please let us not argue. I do understand CF’s frustration and Dierks, as I was frustrated and a wee bit in a huff too. It is not fair to have games organized and nobody show up. No matter what our excuses are, when we put our names down to play, I think we should all try harder to do that or at least register. Of course there are circumstances we cannot help, like Dierks had to go to Dallas for work.

I am sure CF did not mean to offend anybody. He has a point though and I think he was just looking for some support and needed to vent. He was not pointing fingers at anybody.. In fact I should have felt bad because I have admitted many times I only play freerolls and don’t deposit. But I did not because I know he did not mean it like that. CF is a loyal member and he only try to do good. I do understand where he come from.

Funny how when it is a freeroll there are no shortage of players but just mention buyin at some sites people disappear like you want to borrow money from them. It is called loyalty to our forum and by registering for games we are supporting TRR.

Hustlenflow get these games for us and if we don’t show up it makes the forum looks bad. It is like Dierks said in the shout box after the Pokerari game got cancelled … there were more people winning some $ in all the freerolls we played there. Let us admit it; this was not the first time we played at Pokerari.

Also remember although FT is most members’ favorite site, it is not everybody’s favorite. I don’t think TRR is only here to play just in FT, there are other poker rooms out there and it is good to play them all. No matter where you deposit, TRR will get the credit for it if you have downloaded from the banners.

Full Tilt is a good site. Well although I say it is not Penny friendly, I do enjoy playing there. It is just hard for me to play $5 tourneys. Do you have any idea how much money that is for me? Well times that with 8 = R40.00 and with that you can buy more than 8 breads here. Lol ok I know it has nothing to do with poker but I just want to give you some idea how it feels to me to play that kind of money. All the times I played the $5 tourney, I got the registration fee from some kind member at TRR. So I feel I have to be extra careful how I play as to not disappoint anybody and I guess it is something like being ‘gun shy’.

I have learned from my mistakes in the past and all I want to say is we all have a right to an opinion and since we all are TRR members, we should not get in a huff with each other so much.
