Should non-active team members get the boot

I think so, I think everyone should be required to make atleast 10 post a month, "10" is nothing. I dont even post that much and i do that in a couple days and i know some members, not to say any names (cough cough, PENNY) who do that in 5 mins. Maybe if they dont make 10 post that month they will not be able to play in any freerolls again, til they make another 25 post. And then if they are not active after that, then they should get the boot. I dont know, that's something right off the top of my head. But i hate freeloaders. Like Chane said be4, this is a real money site and the freeloaders can go elsewhere.

wow thats a tough one.
i guess you have to ask if the person that you want to boot only plays in the freerolls.
do they ever play in the buyins? do they get referrals? do they contribute in other ways?

what if someone just didnt want to talk in the forum for whatever reason but they download every site from the banners and deposit.
whos more valuable here? the person posting getting in all the freerolls or the person depositing.

I say both are valuable without posters you have no forum and without depositors you have no funds for freerolls.

I guess all im saying is be very careful about "booting" people out for not posting.

All i do know is the more people playing the more action the poker site gets and thats the reason these are done right?

ok let me put it this way.
what if i left this forum right now and didnt come back and make another post for a year?
ive downloaded a couple of site that i continue to play on thoughout the year, depositing many hundreds of dollars.
my dollars that i deposited help to allow the rest to have freerolls. so are you then going to tell me a year later that i havent contributed as much as say Pokerhanas (i'll use me as an example)
who does this :eek: for every other post.

your right, maybe its not the norm but maybe it is we dont really know. how many other people have downloaded to play in a freeroll here and then start depositing? who knows. once youve downloaded your attached for life unless you use a new identity.
all im saying, is its very hard to just weed out noncontributors, because we dont really know who they are.

Very good,and valid point Mam! Not everyone has the same amount of time to contribute on the forum, but that doesn't mean they don't contribute in other ways.

Look at how many posts Holdem has already racked up in the short time he's been here. It took me like 3 weeks to make the required 25, but I dont have a lot of time and I didn't want to post a bunch of crap. A lot of my time here has been spent reading past articles on strategy and how to improve my game in other areas. Which really sets this site way above others I considered. I'm sure there are others, like me, that have limited time to spend. I don't feel it should exclude people.
