Forum Rules - PLEASE READ before posting!

At The Rounders Room we have several rules we play by to make everyone’s experience more enjoyable:

1. We play nice.

• Use appropriate language.
• Post in English only.
• Members should post in a way that is respectful of other visitors. Abusing users in any way will not be tolerated.
• Once you’ve made a post, it’s permanent. You have a short period of time to edit the post. Please think before you post.

2. We respect administrators and moderators.

• If we have a problem with administration, we PM (private message) chane. We never “call out” TRR staff in public or bad mouth TheRoundersRoom.com in anyway.
• Any bad mouthing of TRR at other forums or in poker chat rooms gets us banned.

3. We don’t spam.

• Posting ads (spam) is not tolerated here under any circumstance. This includes but is not limited to referral links, promotional links, and personal websites that would compete with TRR. Users posting spam will be warned and their post removed.
• The above forum rule also applies to private messaging. If you receive a PM with spam please PM chane immediately.

4. We respect other forums.

• NEVER post other forum’s passwords in our forum without the forum owner’s AND chane’s permission.

5. We respect the threads.

• NO thread hijacking (for instance, asking questions or offering advice unrelated to the topic of the original post)
• Moderators will delete off-topic posts in a thread.
• Post your message in the relevant forum. Read the forum descriptions before posting. We have topics – not everything is General Discussion.
• Post each message only once. Do no post the same message in different forums or threads.

6. We post clearly.

• Use ALL CAPS sparingly – one word, not the whole subject line.
• Use proper grammar and punctuation. Capitalize the first word in the sentence and end it with the proper punctuation. This is not text messaging. This is a discussion board.
• If you are bad at spelling, use spell check.
• Please keep outside smiley faces and images to a limit.

7. We participate.

• To play in our freerolls, we require that our members make at least 25 quality posts. Read How to Get The Password to Our Freerolls here. There is no time limit to make your 25 posts, but the faster you make them, the sooner you can play in our freeroll league.


BANISHMENT / WARNINGS

The Rounders Room Forum is a friendly community for discussion. In order to keep the community friendly and open, the moderators monitor the forum regularly. Users found to be in conflict with any of the above rules will be subject to warnings. Banishment is a last resort and is used at the discretion of the site operators. Users CAN be banned without warning. If you are unsure of any of the rules please contact a moderator BEFORE posting.

Admin has the final say on forum posts and reserve the right to edit, lock, or delete any post.

Now that you've got a good understanding on what it means to post in the forum...don't. Not quite yet. We always recommend lurking for a bit, reading and poking around before you dive in and post. Get a feel for how things work. Just like you would a new workplace or even a friend’s party with new people, before you open your mouth and start opining. It's just good manners.

Once you have done that please Introduce Yourself. In fact, let the Introduction Area should be the very first place you ever post. You'll never feel so welcome! We Rounders are a friendly bunch.
