Duplicate Poker

I deposited $20 on this site after getting a big Moola booster to join. I cashed out $70 and have $20 left, but this site is HORRIBLE for poker. It isn't even poker, you aren't trying to outplay your opponents at the table, you are trying to guess what the other guy at your seat will do and beat him. Basically, you have to FOLD AA pre flop and hope he goes all in and loses so you crush him, or bluff heavy with 2/8 offsuit and hope he folds pre flop. Basically you need to do the opposite of what you think the other guy will do and hope you are right. Plus, no way to watch the other tables and the games take forever. They make it legal by saying its a game of skill and not luck like poker, but it is just horrid for anyone who really plays poker and enjoys it.

yeah its definitly a different beast. i dont mind the game in fact i kinda like it for a change of pace but i dont like that my game can be crippled by someone sitting out. to me that just isnt right.
they also kind of pissed me off because they had a special 1000 freeroll on the 4th if you made a deposit so i deposited and they never gave me my entry to the freeroll but not just that but of the 220 plus entries that were originally entered only 30 something got to actually play.

after many many email before the start of the game i finally recieved a response after the game was over and was told that maybe i didnt meet all the criteria to gain entry like having more than one account or not being signed in 15 minutes before the game.
i wrote back and told him that i did meet all the criteria and if someone had multiple accounts then they shouldnt be accepting a deposit in the first place.
anyways they pretty much blew me off so i sent them another nasty little note.
it wasnt just me though they did this to quite a few people and this i know because we were all in the chat part of the game talking about it as we were watching the lucky 30 play in the game.
i didnt like that one little bit i wont be depositing there again.

my fiance won a subscription to Card Player magazine, they had the promo to join with ya gettin $3 to start. When you're playing against other playeres that have the same hand at other tables he said there are clueless players there that seem to win all the time...he said the only thing he did like about the site was that it created bigger fish for the real poker rooms...his words not mine. I'm new to the game of poker. I have only been playing for 8 months and it just looked to complicated to me...so I will wait till I improve my play before I give it a try. Now my fiance's sister absolutely swears by the site...she's only been playin there for 2 weeks and has over $20.

I got that bonus too but never played there. I read in some post that making a withdrawal is very expensive. You might want to check that out before you build up a bankroll.
