Default Separate, specific strategy forums!

Personally, one of the main reasons I like this site is because I feel I can contribute a great deal to the strategy forums.

I think it would be easier if there were an entire section for strategy, with separate forums for No-limit holdem, limit holdem, tournaments, omaha, stud etc.

I realize that the majority of the players here play NL, but I still think separate forums would make things more organized.

I completely agree with this. When I post an O8 hand, I don't want it to get lost in the hundreds of Holdem hands. One forum per game would be good. Just don't put one for games that no one really plays.

More like 2-7 tripple draw, 5 stud, A-5 single draw, etc...

QFT. I really think this would be worth the time/energy of creating the separate forums. The strat forum now can be used more of a "general strat" forum, but I definately think separate forums would be a BIG step up for this place.

I'll mod 'em all, I don't care, I'd just like to see it happen for the new year if possible

This place has potential. I think with the minds we have here, we can make this place something very nice. With seperate forums for strat, we are leading the revolution, lol.

It would probaly be best to have one for hold'em (for both limit and NL), one for Omaha, one for other that would include stud, razz, horse and all the other ones
at least for now until there are more players and there is a need for a seperate forum for each of them.

:cringes:

I would say that HORSE wouldn't need it's own forum, since it's a mixed game, and whatever questions you had can be posted in that game's specific section.

I'll give you the generalized forums though. Maybe like this..

Holdem

Omaha

Stud

Tournaments

That's only 4, and would be specific enough to help neaten things up a bit. The strat section now is pretty chaotic. I'd like to see it get more traffic, but am afraid of the mess if it's all jumbled into one place.
