Like I said a suggestion, but if you can't wrap your mind around this, then I suggest staying away from the horses and dogs. Don't place you money on winners and sure things with a better than 35% guarentee of cashing.
This is only a tool to show confidence in people that can't or didn't make the next level of play and has shown strong skills that warrent such opportunities.
Nothing more, nothing less. I guess you like to keep people down so you feel better about yourselfs. A moral injustics of people without the means.
I never implied that this has to be in the now but the future. A horse doesn't get born running and winning high stake races, they grow and get stronger. Only then the owners (stakers) may enter this horse. Get the picture?
We have a system in place for tracking all players of this forum. So after a given set amount of time, why not make an eligibility list of people who have proven to this community to be worthy of staking? Would be a nice promo tool to futher inlistment of the forum!!!!!!
That is where I was going with this. For we all would win in the venture.

I have never asked for backing and don't want it. No need to be backed. I only suggest this as a recruiting tool that may be implimented in the future to those who are worthy by solid play.

I've been to poker sites where people get staked. It absolutely DOES attract beggars. I already get plenty of IM's from people wanting a stake. I can't stand that shit.

I've already explained my stance on this. I think it's you who is not quite "getting it". Everyone has plenty of chances to build a bankroll online through freerolls. We are not keeping people down. As a community that holds many private freerolls, it appears as though we are doing the exact opposite.

I've never made a deposit in my life with my own money. I started with $0. I made over $7,000 in my first 6 months playing freerolls. No one ever had to stake me. I just played in 5 freerolls at a time and found out about all of the private freerolls available. It made me a better player and I earned a little money.

THERE ARE SOOOOOO MANY WAYS TO GET A BANKROLL STARTED WITHOUT BEING STAKED. I did all of this as a beginner. I was not a good player when I made that money. I am 100x the player I was back then.

So, you are not open to suggestions? the probability of using this as a promotional tool to further promote TRR through a proven tool? Never said it was a now thing but something for the future. You are already giving out $500.00 to a person who is a poster and player. You aren't going to mull this over and see what this can do. I understand your position on this but I do feel you don't have the full picture of what this can snowball into?
This is the suggestion link if I recall. I just would like to see the players that have proven to the community through solid play have a chance to advance and have the backing. Nothing more, nothing less.
I applaude you Chane for making great advances in your freeroll abilities. Truely remarkable. But not everyone is like you. Most just got started and the field has gotten tougher with more people to contend with. I myself have proclaimed that the first annual Winter Donkey Olympics have started. From friday to monday mornings the tables are off limits to cash games till May.

I just want to say that i have personally known Omegan for about a year now and I have found him to be not only pain in the ass at times ( because he thinks too much lol) but also a very kind, giving man.
he may come off a bit harsh but he doesnt mean to be.
he only wants to do what he thinks is best for all.
he has many ideas and suggestions and likes to put them out there for others to see as a way of helping them to improve, and i have never joined anything other than this forum.
he has never and i repeat NEVER asked for a dime from me or anyone ive ever known. in fact just the opposite is true. he has staked not only me ( much to my surprise) but many others just because he wants to help them build a better bankroll.
my point in this post is just to say that Omegan means no harm to anyone, he really does just try to help.
