its REALLY reallyyyyyyyyyyyy going to be weird to watch a Packer game and NOT see him on the field.. I grew up in Wisconsin, lived most my life there and am surprised i'm not bleeding Packer blood, (i've been a diehard niner fan since i was 6 yrs old).. but watching so many Packer games over the years, Favre grows on ya and you HAVE to respect a guy who played as hard as he did and still had FUN playing the game.. i've never seen a proffesional sports player smile while in a game as much as him.. gotta love that.

Haha, I can't help but feel that if ever a thread deserved to be bumped, it's this one.

J! E! T! S! Jets Jets Jets!

At least he's not a Viking, or Bear. That would be wrong.

Man are you kidding, I wish he was on the Bears, that's their only weakness....bad QB's.

Default I'm split

I have to say I'm happy he's still in football.I've been a GAINTS fan since I was very little. So when we beat the packers in the playoffs,I was split on my feelings about it.I was happy my team won,but I really felt bad for Bret.If any QB in the NFL deserves a superbowl it's him.
Funny thing is my second favorite team is the jets.I don't know if they will be able to help him get to the playoffs or even a superbowl. But I do know, with him on the team they have a much better chance then they did before.
In closing,I still will always think of him as a packer.I do understand the owners point about him changing his mind.but it's BRET.There not worried about ticket sales so they can do that.Oh one last thing.Packers fans will never forget this, espeacially if BRET ends up winning it all with the JETS.

ps sorry all cheese heads.gotham city has taken your biggest cheese.

always rounding,
SOBESKATER

No, I don't kid around about serious subjects such as football. Maybe it's different for Bears fans, since your team won a Super Bowl and went to another a couple years ago. I'm a Vikes fan, who lived on the MN/WI border, and I see it this way: my team is 0-4 in Super Bowls and has lost their last 3 NFC championship games. So if Favre led MN to a Super Bowl or (heaven forbid) even won one with him, Packers fans would probably never let me hear the end of it: If it wasn't for Favre...

Besides, I'm sick of hearing about the greatness of Favre. It's tiresome hearing broadcasters gush over him--I don't wanna listen to that every Sunday. Oh, and I have more trust in Tavaris than you have in Orton, I suspect.
