 Los Angeles Dodgers
Can you believe that the Dodgers are 4 1/2 games in the lead in the National League West? As a die hard Dodger fan, this is truly a beautiful thing. Having won 9 out of their last ten games, although they have not cinched the division, let's just say that the fat lady's in the background warming up. Last night they beat the Rockies 5-1, and that's 2 in Colorodo with another game this afternoon. Top it off with the destruction of the Arizona Diamondbacks with loss after loss, and it looks now that they will be making the post season for the first time in a few seasons. Now the big question is if they can do anything in the playoffs.

Dodgers now have a magic number of one. Just one win or one loss by the Az Diamondbacks and they go to the playoffs. LET'S GO DODGERS

The Los Angeles Dodgers have done it. They took the 2nd game at Wrigley field in a monstrous 10-3 victory over the Cubs tonight. They now lead the NLDS 2 games to none, and will be returning to Los Angeles for game three of the series. For a team that trailed a majority of the year in their division, they have taken a commanding lead in this series, and have quieted the nay sayers with consecutive victories. On ESPN the morning of the first game, the prognosticators were talking about a Cubs sweep of the series, and the Dodgers may have just swung this to be an exact opposite. THE DODGERS RULE! !

Yep, Joe Torre has a tiny bit of experience in the post season. What was Steinbrenner thinking when he let him get away? DEE DEE DEE!!
